We will pick you from Kandy and will reach Ambuluwawa, the cultural diversity complex located in the middle of Gampola, the capital of the island by King Buwanekabahu IV, who ruled for four years in the mid-fourteenth century. This is one of most isolated attraction in Central upcountry & the best place that shows cultural equity and harmony in Sri Lanka throughout the historical time. This is one of very rare place which represent 4 religions, contains a Buddhist temple, Church, mosque & kovil in a sight. Apart from that this is one of ideal place to see the beauty of Sri Lankan ancient architecture skills that used to build the viewpoint tower, giving most amazing and breathtaking views of Central hills. Its a bit adventurous walk after 1.5 KM hike from the bottom to top via bumpy road & using the stairs to top of the tower will be an adrenaline rush! Here you can see about the historical value of Ambuluwawa, Gampola ancient kingdom & this will be very good way to observe the architectural values practiced by old Sri Lankans while enjoying the breathtaking views. After exploring the site we will reach a local home to have our next cultural value addition, an Arabian style food tasting made by locals who influenced by traditional food practices of local Muslims. You can learn the secrets of delicious food preparation as a value addition and we will drop you back.

Thanks so much for the tour, it was wonderful. The tower was very unique, rather scary climbing up the tower, but that made it more exciting. You were very nice to be around as a guide and took us to a wonderful home for delicious arabic food.

We had great time! The view from the tower is really beautiful, but what we loved most is the meal in a local house, it felt strange firstly to come to a stranger’s house, but then we talked and talked, the family is just lovely. Thank you!
