The dance which traces its origin from the ancient rituals focuses on dynamism, powerful footwork, leaps, and whirls that imitate several movements from birds and animals. The whole performance is graced by colorful costumes, masked dances, and thrilling fire acts! To make the show more exciting, some men perform a series of acrobats and stunts such as plate-spinning while lady dancers making most attractive moves for local drum beats.

The Kandyan dance was great to watch….the last piece on fire dance was really good. Thisara was very responsive and clear in her communication. The place was easy to find. So, no complaints there.
